We are excited to announce the new integration available with Railinc’s Rail Sight Tracing product. Rail Sight records railcar and intermodal equipment movements on more than 550 rail carriers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico in near real time around the clock.
The integration with VISCO allows for scheduled “trace’s” which will periodically check the status on any railcars and download that information into VISCO. The ETA and status on all railcars are updated automatically and we display the date and time of the last trace/sighting as well as the location. In addition, when the railcar arrives VISCO will also display days since it arrived but before it is released to help you avoid demurrage charges.
